Just received a carbon bar in the mail from NMackey. It is great condition just as he described and was packaged with care. I would do business with him again with confidence.
Mr. Gwin, thank you for your honest responses. Best of luck with the off-season and beyond.
Keep fighting the good fight Sir!
Wow, so much hate. I think Ellsworth makes the BEST looking frames out there. To say they are "behind" or "outdated" is sad. They have received great reviews for years, their design just works. I don't see anyone giving Norco or Rockymoutain or the big S flack for keeping a horst link?
I really appreciate that Ellsworth hasn't gone with the uber-thin, mega-wide tin can front triangle trend. Their smaller diameter tubes can actually hold their own and look outstanding attached to a 36/lyrik/wotan with bigger stanchions.
Ellsworth, please don't loose your awesome rear triangles/quadrilaterals, and beautifully machined rockers. Please don't change your design because a bunch of kids (who have probably never even ridden one!) on pb don't think your frames are swoopy enough!
Personally, I bought a used Moment three years ago and I still ride it more than any other bike. In fact, I've kept it longer than any other frame I've had in years. I once emailed Ellsworth regarding a spring rate question and Tony himself sent back a prompt reply. Good service.
Yay for bikes, end rant.
I have been watching this every few days since he won, anyone notice how they chopped the vid so you don't hear Warner say "how does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?"
Sad.
Wheelbase on that 29er looks at least 2.143 miles long, I don't think I could ever go fast enough to benefit!
